Another band with the Waterlilies silk in the "Daffodil" colorway. I deliberately started with the other end of thread from the earlier band in this color so as to have the darker shade on the opposite side of the sampler.
I'm not thrilled with the coverage of the recommended one strand of silk for the scotch stitch in this band. To me, it looks a little skimpy. Scotch stitch is a needlepoint stitch that depends on a nice plump coverage. On the other hand, the first and last stitch in each little square are over one, so two strands would probably be too much.
