Mixed results this week. I went to Alexis' meet Saturday, but did not get the Musselburgh Hat finished. It was way too loud and chaotic to let me have enough brain power to do the decreases, but I did get the straight part finished and got the decreases set up and started when I got home last night. I'll post the finish on it next week. I just hope I have enough yarn!
I did get through the rotation on the KC Plaza Sewing Bag that's currently in the "Modern" slot. I hit ten hours early this week but was only partly through the first half of the fourth repeat (of five) on the cityscape side. I figured I was ahead of where I needed to be on the overall rotation, so I could spare more time on this project to get to a better place. I ended up putting on more than 15 hours on the project, but that's OK.
All five of the little teal curlicue bits with their blue center shields and yellow trumpet flowers. There's going to be back stitch and beads all along that section as well, but this is good enough to be getting on with. Next time this project comes up, I'll do that same section on the fountain side.
Love all the little details in your stitching project. The hat appears to be very close to the finish line Pretty yarn! Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stitching, and love the color of the knitting!
ReplyDeleteIt has to be quiet for me to successfully do decreases also. The hat is looking good. I love the curlicues that you finished.
