Band 4 on the Victoria Sampler piece is another very simple but effective band. A row of 4 x 4 Smyrna Cross stitches. This makes a good, dense 'resting' band on band samplers of all types. The thread for this is the second of the Caron Wildflowers threads. The pine green thread does not have as much color variation as the teal thread used on the band above it; the color barely varies from one end of the band to the other.
