AUDIOBOOK (fiction): The September Society by Charles Finch (narrated by James Langton)

Second in the series of "Lennox" Victorian mysteries.

Another good case, this one full of mistaken and hidden identities, murders old and new and a secret society tangled up in English Imperial war crimes.   The plot is as old as Sherlock Holmes, but the execution is very different and well worth the listen to.  The romantic subplot sees Lennox and his dearest friend, the widowed Lady Jane, engaged by the end of the book, which resolved the UST (unresolved sexual tension) that was evident (at least on Lennox's part) in the first book.

Four stars (down one due to the plot crib).  Excellent narration again - with voices!
