Weekly Update: January 21, 2019

Didn't manage to get the link up to Slow Sunday Stitching this week due to an unusually busy and snowy weekend.

But I did get to about the 3/4 point on Randi's afghan.  I'd like to have it done this month.
I also got a new travel knit cast on.  This is a really simple cowl in bulky yarn for the donation bin.  Or maybe for JC since it's almost 'hunter orange'.
And Dutch Beauty is at six hours.

  1. Cold and snowy here too! Is the blank spot the last part to do? We both know that it will take a long time to get it all filled in with whatever gets stitched there! Looks great! Nice to have a travel project too.

    1. The blank spot is the last of the center row. There's another 'arbor' side to match the one on the left, then a 'hart at rest' motif in the center, then a whole third row!!! This thing is HUGE, but at least each motif is interesting.

  2. I love that stitch work you show - my daughter would love it she makes things like that

    1. The pattern is still available last I looked. 123 stitch carries it. I almost wish I would have brightened up the pinks a bit to get it closer to what it must have looked like originally. The reddish purple that was probably dyed with cochineal didn't fade, but the rest of the pinks and reds did.
