This is another highly colored band with dramatic accents.
It starts with a row of large eyelets. These are called "Diamond" eyelets in the pattern but they are really "Modified or Irregular Diamond Eyelets" because the top is elongated into the flame shape. They are stitched with one strand of Caron Watercolors silk.
Then straight stitches are added across the top of each eyelet to further elongate the shape and add sparkle.
Finally, a few of the ruby beads that look like glowing coals under the flames. Very effective.
