New modern needlework project - Garden Delights

Way back in April of 2018, I laid out a few new starts for upcoming projects in the "modern" category.   They were a Silver Needle Camp project, one design by the house designer at Silver Needle, the remaining three kits in the Victoria Sampler "Four Elements" series and a sweet little sampler from Elizabeth Designs.   Well, I have finished all of them except the sampler, so guess what's up next!

This was actually published as a teaching design and I signed up for an online class with a now sadly defunct shop, Tapestry of Dreams.  I dutifully printed out the instructions with each segment and put them in a binder, but never even started the project - rather like I did with Bateau Bayeux (which I WILL get to at some point).

The kit from the class is silk floss on "lambswool" linen.   The fabric came with an overcast edge, which is so nice.   It's a lovely straight edged cut, too.  There a couple more hours in the 'Modern' slot for this rotation, so I'm going to get it on the scroll bars.  That way I'll be all ready to go when the modern slot in the rotation #3 comes around.

    1. I love the verse. I don't know why some of these things linger in the stash when once I pull them out, I can't wait to start.
