Rotation Changeover - 2021 Rotation #4, Slot 1 (historic) complete

A tad less than 10 hours got me to a perfect stopping spot on Dutch Beauty.  I finished the remainder of the right side parrot on vase of fritillariaAnd also finished the entire remaining bottom border.  Which meets my goal for this year!

Here's where it was the last time I laid it all out flat for a 'big picture' look.  (Back in April!)

There's one full page and two partial pages yet to go.  The center bottom panel is filled with a huge motif of a swan and four cygnets in a nest of bullrush/cattails and some small side motifs of other birds that fill in the corners.  When it comes up next time, I'll start with those small birds on the left.

I sort of hate to put it away, because it's almost at the tipping point where I want to just work on it until it's done, but going by the average time per page, there's still about six rotations left.  I.E. it will be this time next year when I could actually anticipate a finish!   That's way too early to get all monogamous stitching!

So, what's up next?   Kimi got me the next section of the lettering pattern for the USMC seal early this week, so that's next.   She sent me a pdf file, and prior to the pandemic, I would have printed it out at work to mark off as I go.   But I don't currently have access to a printer.   So I've loaded the pdf file into a pdf reader on my ipad and will try marking it off on screen.   I know there are stitchers who swear by using various readers and markup software.  Keeping my fingers crossed that this will work.

Here's the start point (well, after I did a few solid rows over on the left side and THEN remembered to take a picture LOL).
