Slow Sunday Stitching - December 11, 2021

Wow, this week went by quickly!  And I got a fair amount accomplished.

Lucy Boston's "Patchwork of the Crosses" - working on the second set of the connecting blocks. Here's #7-8 of 12 for the center of the table topper.  Just four more to go.  I might get all the blocks finished by the end of the year! #9 is cut out already and the basting is underway.

I got the Plaza Sewing Bag to a bit over it's ten hours and got the shops on the left side of the front finished.  I think I'll continue along the cityscape when it comes up again.   There is a horse and carriage that goes on the center left where the gaps in the outlining are, but I'll do that after the shops are done as per the directions.

But the big news is on the knitting front.  Bob's Christmas Stocking - the heel flap is finally underway.  It's an heel I don't use often - the Dutch or Square heel.  But it will match the one on Kimi's sock pretty well.

Edit to Add:   Moon Garden is finished!

  1. Glad to hear you are making good progress on the stocking! You should have it done in plenty of time. Your other projects are coming along nicely too, have a great week

  2. What would we do without our handwork? It fills the hours, feeds our inner desire to create, and gives us something to take pride in. A blessing for certain.
