Slow Sunday Stitching - April 27, 2022

Mostly Needlework this week, though I did hit the center point on the last full side of the Sock Yarn Blanket.

I have been bouncing from project to project all week and weekend after finishing up the little lacy Victoria Sampler quilt block center last Tuesday.

This was the weekend of the virtual retreat.  So far I've only got in about 14 hours, so I doubt I'll make it to 24 this time.   Especially since Monday is a commute day and so I can't stay up late stitching.

I logged my progress so far in this post.

Today I'm working on the Plum Street Sampler's new market release "Corgi Caboodle".  It's going to be one of those deceptively small projects with a lot more stitching that it looks.   So far just working along the bottom, but I'm not far from being able to put in the first little stubby legs!

40 count one over two.  About 2 5/8 inch or 6.5 cm across

Between the grass in this, the grass in Dutch Beauty, the letters on the USMC seal and the huge tulip on Their Song, this weekend will be known henceforth as the "virtual retreat with ALL the fill in!" LOL

Linking up with the SSS crew (current links).

ETA:  17 hours total and a good start on the first ("papa") Corgi - finished my 5 hr WiPGO goal on it, which completes April goals!

  2. It sounds as if you will be stitching a lot of little cross stitches this weekend. A little corgi in cross stitch will be sweet.
