A simple band of plait stitch / long arm cross. This one is slightly wider than the same stitch above - three threads high, so it looks less dense than the two by two in Band 8. Very effective in an over dyed thread, too. This is a great stitch for expensive threads as there is almost no thread on the back - just two backstitched lines above and below.
I did this band 'sewing' style and it went super quick. The next band, though, will be anything but quick - drawn thread 10 stitches deep...….
