July and time to start Needlework Rotation #3 of the year.
The line up is
- Modern: Elizabeth Designs "Garden Delights" Teaching Sampler: NEW START!
- Historic/Vintage: "Dutch Beauty" reproduction sampler. Bottom third
- Pictorial: Teresa Wentzler "Millennium". Still have the remainder of the bottom border, some backstitching and beads yet to go.
- Finish/Frame: Sharon Cohen "Sampler Sweetbag" is ready to assemble.
- Also working on: my son's "USMC Seal" over one border about 1/3 done.
Caroline McNeil's "Friday off the Grid" group does a quarterly "High Tea" start. Basically, a "start something lovely that has been lingering in your stash" SAL. I'm going to try to synch up any new starts with one of the quarter days to participate. This time it worked out perfectly for the Elizabeth Designs "Garden Delights" that I introduced here.
Tiny little corner start, but still - a start.
