I sort of faded the last few hours of #24HoursOfCrossSitch. I was hoping to get the Just Nan snippet "I Can Drive a Stick" done in addition to "Garden Delights", but it's not even quite to the half way point. It should be a quick finish the next time the 'modern' slot comes around again, though.
I am liking the 36 count linen (over two threads with one strand of silk), though the coverage would be better on 40 count. The fabric color is a bit washed out in this photo, it's really a nice golden tan, though not as gold as the chart photo.
Up next in the rotation is ten hours on Dutch Beauty. Starting on the small motifs along the left edge of page 16/P and the leaves/buds in the bottom border for that page.

Good for you, using such a high count of cloth. I only use 14 count so I can see it!,, do you use a magnifier?
ReplyDeleteYes, I doubt I could manage any stitching without a magnifier. Mine is a Craftlight Dublin model. Got it from the Silver Needle in Tulsa.
DeleteI love your stitchery - it is growing and growing - such patience for this big project
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about your hand quilting LOL. The key with both is 'just keep stitching...'!
