Fabric:  28 count white Lugana

Threads:  DMC as charted plus some black sewing thread for the over one back stitched letters on the banner in the eagle's beak

Stitches: Cross (two over two) and (one over one), backstitch 

Notes:  My sister, Kimi, charted replacement lettering over one.  

2004 start - for my son, JC.  He enlisted when a senior in high school.  He did four years of JROTC, four years active duty including a double deployment to Iraq, a year of active Reserve, four years ready reserve).
