This week was really busy at work - end of the month and one of my co-workers got COVID and is only able to work half days for a while. I ended up picking up several of her month end tasks, so lots of overtime and not a great crafting week. I did get in a bit on the brown yoke sweater, but it looks just like the last photo plus a couple of inches, so no picture. And two hours on the Sugar Skull (picture next week when I hopefully will meet the next check in point of the lower forehead area completed) and a bit over three hours on the Birdhouses SAL.
I'm well into the November section. There's a small limb and a half dozen stitches of lower tree trunk to put in on the right side of the in-progress picket, the rest of that picket, the autumn leaves on the tree (16 little seven stitch leaves in seven fall colors - it won't go fast), and the actual birdhouse and bird (a large owl). Plus planning to work ahead a bit on December in order to have time to take the border across before the January section starts. So quite a bit of stitching left.
Hopefully this week will be better crafting. I have a medical appointment Tuesday afternoon with labs before, so there should be some time to work on the perforated paper Santa, which has been sadly ignored of late.
Linking up with the SSS crew for inspiration and accountability.
Your stitching is lovely, there are never enough hours in the day! have a great week ahead.

ReplyDeleteThe November section is looking great! So sorry that you have had to work overtime lately. Can't wait to see updates on the other crafts.
ReplyDeleteBummer on the extra work hours. Hope your co-worker is on the mend and you can get back your crafting time. Have a good week.
