This block "Studio Time" in Pat's layout is a nine patch floating in a frame with half square triangle corners. Let's see, do I have a 9 patch from the old quilt that I could cut down?

Units all cut and ready to go.
And the final block. It's one of the 12 x 12 finished blocks, and went together fast.
This is the halfway point on the blocks, but not quite halfway on the top, as there are four 'fill in' areas and some pieced and plain sashings.
