This sampler has a number of bands that are repeated or are variations. Here's another band of beads and Scotch Stitch that echo the band just above the first drawn thread band.
Not sure what went on with my phone's camera, because in real life, my ground fabric is reasonably square with the world, not all wonky like that.
The pattern called for an exact duplicate of the upper band, but instead of alternating the direction of the Scotch Stitch blocks, in this band I stitched them all going on the same diagonal. It's interesting to see how that one changes makes the two bands look different. With the beading, I again did a double pass to act as if it were hemstitching.
