On Saturday, there was a STEM type competition at my grandson's Junior High.
In between his presentation and the teams project he was on, I had a couple of hours tucked into the back of the commons at a table with a thermos of tea and my stitching. And I made some really good progress on my perforated paper Santa, (See the last pic of it here.) Finished Santa's coat and the horse ALMOST has a head! The hat is on round 9 of 14 crown decreases, so that's close to a finish, too.
And speaking of finishes - The Sugar Skull is done! (finish post is here for all the stats and it's already at the framers!) BTW, fabric color is closer on this picture.
Look at you go! Is the sugar skull for you or someone else? Santa and his reindeer both need heads! You will soon be done two more projects. I’ll be watching to see what you work on next. Gail at the Cozy Quilter
ReplyDeleteI love your sugar skull!
ReplyDeleteYour finished Sugar Skull is resplendent in colour and pattern. A most lovely finish. Such a good idea to pack a thermos of tea and some stitching to enjoy for your grandson's school competition.
ReplyDeleteWow, all of these are so lovely! As a relatively new CS-er there was a time when I would have not understood your "next project" dilemma but I totally get it now. Definitely finish up the Santa as it's almost done. Funny, quilting got me into CS and recently a Flosstube video prompted me to buy some yarn and try to get back into knitting. Crafts are enabling!
