WIPGO calls for February 2024

 It's WIPGO time again.   Calls for February are #24 and #3

Slot #24 is more on the Just Nan Pin Cube.   I have in my notes that the next steps will be to do the four sides.   I have this project on my board for six slots, but I think I'll need three for assembly and making and installing the pin cushion on top.   So this second call and the third call, I'll need to cover two sides each time.   

I'm going to start with the two easier sides that are more or less square.  On the sides, I plan to use batting underneath the stitched piece to smooth the edges just a bit.  I did not use batting on the bottom that I completed in January for more stability.

Slot #3 is a drum made from an old freebie pattern.   I have no idea who the designer is, though it looks vaguely Shepherd's Bush (ish). Working on this one may be interesting - it's certainly going to need to be lined as the fabric is a floppy Hardanger basket weave stuff that feels like a squeaky 1980s acrylic yarn!  It will be an adventure!
